I thought folks would enjoy this little time capsule. I stumbled upon a few copies of Outdoors magazine circa 1948 and 1949. Snapped a few choice pics of the gun ads of that era. A few of my favorites were an "Enfield M1917" in 30.06 for $39.50 and the "9mm Luger Automatic 4" for $35.00.

Sometimes it's really fun to go back down "memory lane" (even though I wasn't there) and imagine "what if it was still like that?"

I'm not gonna lie, a part of me really wants to find a good condition M1917 just to have in the collection.
