First and foremost, I am not a former action guy, and I have not been there or done that. By trade I am a helicopter mechanic turned aircraft certification guy. Aside from the gun side of things I am a hot rodder and a decent machinist. I have always been a gun nut, I have held my CCW since 2005 and carry religiously, I shot USPSA and outlaw matches from 2010 until 2020 with a string of A and M classifiers before I got burned out. I wrote several scores of articles for Gunnuts Media in 2016 until I parted ways with that website. Finally, with my background I write a LOT of technical documents, but I am not a writer by trade, nor am I an English major! If you find my ramblings to be incoherent and poorly written...well, embrace the suck and rejoicing in the unique quality they have added to your life. Or not. Either way, I had fun writing them and I am happy to be here.

Training Report: Phalanx Training Group Low Light Pistol

I really enjoy when people post training reports and lessons learned from competitions and professional schools. Charles recently talked about his experience in a low light pistol class, and I asked if he would do a write up for the site. Here it is!
