In Marksman Live session 002, I talked with Ilya Koshkin (the Dark Lord of Optics) and Jeff Gurwitch. I’ve interviewed both of these gentlemen before on various topics, Ilya here, and Jeff Gurwitch here and here.

Being a livestream, we of course wandered around the topic a bit, but the focus was comparing BDC (bullet drop compensating) reticles against MRAD-based reticles, particularly with general purpose rifles equipped with low power variable optics.

While we all know there is nuance to the topic, for the purposes of debate Jeff took the side of BDC and Ilya argued for MRAD. Enjoy the session, and don’t forget to subscribe to each of their respective YouTube channels.
